Good evening all you beautiful people!
It's been ages since I last posted and like Crimson said, we're going to try and keep posting at least one post a week this year. Come Monday, we're both starting new jobs, I can't really say much about mine cause of confidentiality issues but all I will say is I'm very nervous but I'm really looking forward to it at the same time :)
I'm not one for making new years resolutions - I just don't see the point in making promises to yourself on one specific day of the year! So, I'm going to try and do what I've been doing on and off for the past year or so, and that is be more active and eat more healithy. The only time I really eat bad things would be if I go out for tea (then it's an excuse, I don't see the point in going out and paying to eat lettuce leaves - if you're going for tea at least have something naughty!) or if I'm due on, other than that the festive season is the time I really well and truely let my hair down and eat practically everything in sight. Oh and before I forget, myself and Crimson have made a promise... da da daaaaaa! We're going to finally reveal our identities! I've already told her I'll let her show her face and introduce herself in her next post, so I'll introduce myself in my next post (I've even took a nice photo and decided what I would like to say about myself and everything.. :)) so yes, the next post by myself will be all about me.. goody.
So how was your Christmas and New Year? I hope Santa was good to you all because he was certainly very good to me!
To name a few, some of the brands I recieved included GHD, Ted Baker, Soap and Glory, Nivea, River Island, FCUK, No7, Marks and Spencer, New Look, George and fragrance-wise, Lady Gaga's Fame and a bottle of Next Define.
My bag. My beautiful Ted Baker bag. My boyfriend gave me money to get clothes but while I was in House of Fraser, the bag seemed to be whispering "buy me, buy me", so I ordered it from their website. I got the large tote size, and think it looks beautiful in the gold, glittery gliscon style. It' a sort of heavy duty plastic and is really sturdy, I'm careful not to put anything too heavy in it though because for the price, I'd be gutted if I broke it!
I'd heard people saying how nice Fame was, but I'd never actually smelt it until I opened it. I was however, very impressed with the packaging! The red encasing the perfume and the shower gel was like a velvet, and really contrasted with the black so 10/10 there. This is the first ever black fragrance, it sprays black liquid yet turns clear once airborn, and I have to admit it smells delicious. Inspired by deadly nightshade, it has a 'dark' feel to it, but with notes of honey, apricot nectar, and tiger orchid, it has a lasting, beautiful scent. The bottles really different too, with the gold clasp wrapping around the top of the bottle having a claw-like effect.
As for the Nivea.. I had to have it! It has everything in a girl needs from your lip balm to hand cream, to shower creme and body lotion to face cream.. with its fresh, talcum powder scent, all thing Nivea are a must have in my eyes. Expect more reviews to come!
I also recieved some beautiful new GHD's, which I will be doing a review of very soon!
So there you have it, my Christmas presents in a nutshell! I honestly had a wonderful day and I'm lucky to know so many lovely people. What did you all get?
My next few posts will consist of me introducing myself properly, doing a review of the manicure and pedicure sets I also got, and my clothing hunt for my holiday in just over seven weeks time to... Venice!
Clover x
