Wish List

It’s not yet pay day and I’m overdrawn, which makes pay day much less exciting. So naturally, I’m dreaming of things I can’t afford.

Asos Knit - £38

I saw one similar in Topshop, but still angry at my boot fiasco, I had my doubts about whether the shoulder stud detail would survive the wash. So this one is minus the shoulder studs and a darker khaki. I have a thing for ‘grandad’ jumpers, or jumpers that look a bit distressed. I don’t understand the ones with ladders and actual holes, but the baggy fit of this kind of jumper has me wanting to channel my inner Kurt Cobain. Without the heroin, obviously.

New Make Up.

I normally use Clinique Super balanced foundation and use natural collection powder to cover my greasier bits like my nose and the darker bits under my eyes. I’ve also been using a matt moisturiser as a primer. It was £1 from Asda and actually does all I wanted it to do. However, after using a sample of Benefit Primer, the grass was suddenly greener on the more expensive side of the fence and now I want new make-up.  I’ll definitely be returning to Clinique foundation, as while it hasn’t been the miracle cure I hoped for, my spots have improved and it provides good coverage, natural, well matching colour and doesn’t cake when I sweat. It lasts months too, so at £21.50, I actually view it as good value for money.

A Vintage Style Dress

I actually already have a couple of floral type dresses that I could dress up, but I’m going to a house warming followed by a night out at an indie night in Newcastle next month and really want a dress that will fit the occasion. Basically, pretty, fashionable indie, not ‘I inherited my grandmother’s clothes because I’m cool’ indie.  And as it’s a party with student friends (I’m newly a graduate…booooo) I want something that is easy to wear and that I won’t ruin when I inevitably drink too much vodka and then go dance on podiums, round lampposts or in a cage. This one is £52 from Urban Outfitters.

Gucci Premiere

Clover and I were given a free sample of this in Boots and I fell in love with it. I’m terrible at describing fragrances, but in a word, it smells expensive. That and Blake Lively is a total babe and could sell anything. For £45 for 30ml in Boots, it wants to smell expensive. I know it isn’t overly extortionate for a nice perfume, but for those on a budget, it is pricey.

Let us know what is on your wishlist  :)
