Earlier in the week, Crimson and myself were doing a spot of
window shopping, I say window, we still spent money! While in Primark, I came
across their own strip lashes they now sell. I’ve read quite a few reviews on
these and had mixed feelings, one because strip lashes and myself don’t really
get on and two because of the price.. £1! But I bought them to try out and I
can honestly say that I’m really pleased!
As you can see from the before and after pictures below, they
really do add volume and length to your existing lashes, and the quality for
the price is so cost efficient. I don’t usually wear strip lashes because I
find that the corners always irritate my eyes and I usually favour individual
lashes, but for the sake of a day or an evening , these are really good. The
glue is like any other strip lash glue, stringy and like elastic in
consistency, but this glue seems to go on in a UV purple colour!
They do stick,
but the glue needs to be reapplied every couple of hours – I’ve started using
the glue I have from my individual lashes to make these Primark beauties last
longer.

I walk past these every time that I go into Primark and so far I haven't picked any up. I normally fail at false lashes so my thinking is that I can pick a pair of these up the get my bearings and then I can start using my more expensive ones when I have the nack!

Honestly they're really easy to apply and the glue that comes with them makes them stick for a maximum of about six hours, plus its really easy to peel them off if they irritate your eyes or anything. Like you said, until you get your barings then these could be the lashes for you! Plus the cost is fab, I'm considering getting a few more pairs to take on my holiday.
