In the bottle, Barry M's 342 in Nude looks a delicate, subtle peach and I assumed that like most of their lighter, more pastel based shades, it would take three coats to create an opaque colour. However, it never takes on an opaque colour, and when I tried it at first, I was quite disappointed. I've had some darker shades of neutral coloured varnishes in the past and was hoping this would just be a lighter alternative and would be the same shade as in the bottle.
But then after a coat of the Base Coat, Top Coat & Nail Hardener, I was pleasantly surprised. My nails without varnish are uneven, thin and rough, but this smoothed out all of their imperfections and while it is so subtle that it's not immediately obvious you're wearing varnish, it made my nails look polished and naturally pretty. As if I was just born with healthy coloured and tidy nails.
This polished look is even better for me, as I can get away with it at work. We're not meant to wear nail varnish, but I just look like I have tidy nails when I wear this. It is also quite quick drying and an easy fix when you don't know what polish to pick or can't be bothered to perfect dramatic nails. As you can see from the bottles, these two varnishes have been the go to for me for the past two or three weeks since buying them and I just have to sing their praises. As a bold and bright, colour lover, I have been converted.

I agree :-) I have a small obsession with them! I know you can order online, so maybe you could see if they take international orders? They're really affordable anyway at £2.99-£5.99.
